Artemis Smiles Honeybee Sanctuary is featured in Swarm Season, an award-winning impressionistic documentary screened nationally and internationally!

Over the course of three years, director & producer Sarah Christman and cinematographer Zara Popovici captured the work we are doing to save wild honeybees and conserve the ancient genetics of these disease-resistant colonies, resulting in a stunning feature-length film. Swarm Season won Best Film and Best Cinematography at the Made in Hawaii Film Festival.
